Dr. Nimo Kama has more than two decades of experience in agricultural innovation, agribusiness, and international development across the Pacific and Asia. As Chairman of the Governing Council of Papua New Guinea's National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI), he promotes research-driven agribusiness and seed-to-table value chains that strengthen food systems and expand commercial opportunities.

As a hands-on agribusiness practitioner, Dr. Kama has supported the growth of PNG coffee exports to Japan and Korea and contributes to the commercial development of marita (Pandanus conoideus). He has also helped shape China-PNG agricultural cooperation programs, giving him practical insight into market access, value addition, and international agricultural partnerships.

Dr. Kama holds a Master's in International Political Economy from the International University of Japan and a Doctorate in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Fluent in Japanese and experienced in cross-cultural negotiation, he brings a regional perspective to bilateral engagement, while his advisory role to PNG's National Department of Agriculture and Livestock helps connect commercial priorities with national policy and regulatory frameworks.

His vision for the PNG-India agricultural corridor centres on three strategic pillars: facilitating trade and investment by connecting PNG agribusinesses with Indian buyers, investors and technology providers; promoting technology transfer in mechanisation, food processing and digital agriculture; and strengthening policy alignment through government collaboration on phytosanitary protocols and investment incentives.

A member of the PNG Institute of Directors and an advocate for South-South cooperation, Dr. Kama is committed to partnerships that deliver practical benefits for farmers, businesses, and communities across Papua New Guinea and India.

Commodore Peter Hirihepe Ilau is one of Papua New Guinea's most distinguished naval leaders, with more than 40 years of experience across government, military and diplomatic roles. He is a former Commander of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and former Ambassador of Papua New Guinea to Indonesia.

He has commanded at sea and shaped institutional policy on land, representing PNG in strategic forums across the full spectrum of operations — from tactical command to long-term strategic planning and crisis management in highly complex security environments.

He is the founder and CEO of Pacific RBS Limited, a consultancy specialising in security and risk management, advising companies across Papua New Guinea. He currently serves as Strategic Security and Risk Advisor to the Council of the University of Papua New Guinea and as a consultant to the PNG SEZ Authority on safety, security and risk management systems, having also advised on pension matters for Comrade Trustee Services Limited.

Beyond his operational record, Commodore Ilau is recognised for mentorship and institutional building, investing in the next generation of leaders while championing accountability, decisiveness and service. His memoir, Tides of Duty, reflects a lifetime of leadership and the understanding that every decision carries consequence.

Mr. Rajeev Sharma is the CEO of Nasfund. He joined the Fund on 16 October 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and served as Chief Operating Officer before his appointment as CEO on 1 April 2023.

With over 30 years of experience across big corporates, multinational companies and financial institutions, Rajeev has held senior roles in PNG since 2002, as well as in India and the Middle East.

He holds a bachelor's degree with Honours in Commerce from Delhi University, India, and is a Chartered Accountant from India, a CPA from Australia, and a member of CPA (PNG). He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Papua New Guinea Institute of Directors.

Sylvia Pascoe is a PNG entrepreneur, SME advocate and community leader with more than 20 years' experience in events, marketing and business development.

She is the founder and Managing Director of Pascoe Events & Marketing and the founder of Pom City Markets, one of Port Moresby's leading platforms for promoting local SMEs, artisans, food producers and emerging entrepreneurs.

Through her work, Sylvia has helped create accessible market opportunities for hundreds of Papua New Guinean businesses while advocating for stronger connections between SMEs, corporate organisations, government and development partners. She is particularly interested in developing practical pathways that help PNG businesses improve their capabilities, access new markets, participate in procurement and progress from informal trading into value adding, manufacturing and sustainable enterprise.

Originally from New Ireland Province, Sylvia is also passionate about tourism, culture and community led economic development. As Leader of the PNGIBC MSME National Industry Group, she aims to strengthen two way trade, investment, knowledge exchange and commercial partnerships between Papua New Guinea and India.

Philip Samar is a mining professional with over 20 plus years of contributing to the development of policy and regulatory practices for both the government and the industry. He holds a Master's degree in mining engineering from Akita University in Japan and an undergraduate degree from the PNG University of Technology.

He was most recently the Vice President External for K92 Mining Ltd and prior to that was Managing Director of the Mineral Resources Authority of Papua New Guinea.

He has served on the boards of the MRA, various mining project Landowners Investment Trusts, K92 Mining Ltd, Nambawan Super Ltd, Transparency International PNG (TIPNG) and a number of other state administrative bodies.
